Hamlet (Signet Classic Shakespeare)

Hamlet - Sylvan Barnet, William Shakespeare 3.5 stars. All the good stuff happens at the end! It was extremely hard for me to stay awake during this one. I think I was spoiled by all the action in Macbeth.

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian - Sherman Alexie, Ellen Forney Wonderfully written. I love the light airiness of Alexie's words. I love Junior's 14-year-old wisdom. I love the courage illustrated in this book. I'm glad I read it :)

Bakuman 01

Bakuman, Band 1: Traum und Realität - Tsugumi Ohba, Takeshi Obata, Diana Hammermeister This took me a little while to get into but I believe the series will get better over time :)

Pride and Prejudice

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen I loved it. incredibly funny. Elizabeth is by far my favorite character. Her temperament is what I aspire to be. I hope to read more novels written by Jane Austen in the future.

Julius Caesar (No Fear Shakespeare)

Julius Caesar (No Fear Shakespeare) - SparkNotes Editors, William Shakespeare It is Roman custom to fall upon their own blade once defeat is inevitable. An honourable way to die? I'd rather fight until the end. But I can understand not wanting to die at the hands of your enemies.

The Things They Carried

The Things They Carried - Tim O'Brien I've never read a book like this before about war. At some moments the tone, even when describing a dismembered body, was detached, stoic. I suppose it had to be that way. Otherwise the entire book would have been filled with sadness and tears...

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (P.S.)

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn - Betty Smith I have fallen in love. My head is filled with the story still. Only great literature stays with you like that.

The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald When I read this book in high school, I loathed it. I believe I felt that way because I lacked the literary capacity to truly absorb the essence of the text. I am happy that I gave it another go. The story is so sad and so true. America in the 1920's, unfortunately, is no different than America right now (as far as social economic statuses go...)and that saddens me. And Gatsby...poor poor Gatsby.

Absolute Boyfriend, Vol. 3

Absolute Boyfriend, Vol. 03 - Yuu Watase Hilarious as usual :)

After

After - Amy Efaw Very intriguing, detailed, bloody and graphic. Read this to step inside the mind of an alleged "baby killer"...

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 17

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 17 - Hiromu Arakawa

Awesomeness as usual ^_^

Romeo and Juliet (No Fear Shakespeare)

Romeo and Juliet (No Fear Shakespeare) - William Shakespeare, SparkNotes Editors

3.5 kind of overrated...

Insurgent (Divergent)

Insurgent - Veronica Roth After looking at everyone else's reviews I think I may be the odd ball here...

A Million Suns: An Across the Universe Novel

A Million Suns - Beth Revis Omg this book was so good. Every page left me with my eyes wide and heart hammering. Purely amazing. I simply cannot wait for the next installment.

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 5

Fullmetal Alchemist, Vol. 05 - Hiromu Arakawa OMG I love Edward so much. He cracks me up!

Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Volume 1

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Vol. 1 - CLAMP, Anthony Gerard I'm a little confused to begin with but maybe the series get better?
